Gird your loins, ladies

I’m a women’s health pro and I’m making a stand.

Pelvic floor function, persistent pain and menopause symptoms should not be a taboo topic. Or something you adjust your life to.

Blushingly discussed at Dr’s appointments, quietly explained in a treatment room whose walls are thin, or nervously confessed over a glass of wine with a friend.

Or worse, not mentioned to anyone at all.

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone

Over 60% of women experience pelvic floor dysfunction at some point in their life.

63% of Australian women report severe or very severe menopause symptoms.

Nearly half of women with chronic pain report being dismissed by the health professionals meant to help them.

This is the reason I provide women’s health exercise therapy.

So women no longer have to wear dark pants in case they leak, opt out because of pain, or adjust their goals and passions around symptoms they've been told to just live with.

Hey I’m Rachel, a clinical exercise physiologist with a special interest in women’s health.

But I don’t stop at any one condition.

Your body is a dynamic system, from your jaw to your feet.

Whether it's your pelvic floor, a stubborn hip, or symptoms of menopause, it needs to be supported, challenged and progressed — not just managed and hoped for the best.

I’m on a mission.

To help women build resilient bodies, using assessments that get to the bottom of the issue, strategies to support your pelvic floor from day one and exercise therapy to build your system to the level you require.

So next time you do a quick pee before your gym session, or slip a pad in before a walk or run, push through another day of pain, or worry that a lift just made your prolapse worse, stop and think..

Do you really need to ‘put up with this’?

Over to you,
the floor is yours!
