Information for Referrers

I’m Rachel Niemann, AES, AEP and Clinical Pilates instructor.

I work with women with persistent pain, pelvic floor dysfunction or other musculoskeletal concerns.

My mission is to provide human first EP services, in a relaxed but professional environment, for women who want to take charge of how their body feels.

I work from home in a quiet street next to Downlands College.

I have two *clinic sausage dogs who are a much loved part of my services.

My areas of interest:

I see clients who need help with:

  • Persistent pain

  • Pelvic floor dysfunction

  • Hypermobility and hEDS

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Arthropathies

  • Menopause: osteopenia, osteoporosis, musculoskeletal syndrome of menopause

  • Pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise

  • Pre & post gynaecological surgery

  • Pelvic pain with or without endometriosis or adenomyosis

Qualifications & CPD:

Accredited Exercise Physiologist & ESSA Member

Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology

Bachelors in Exercise and Sport Science.

CertIV in Contemporary Pilates Methodology

Primary Certificate in Menopause and Women’s Health

Pre & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Certification

Pelvis Pro: for hip, and pelvic pain and dysfunction

Comprehensive and personalised home exercise programs

Biomechanical principles to change muscle activation patterns, joint alignment and posture

A whole body and brain focus on pain and dysfunction

Exercises that consider connective tissue stiffness and ability to yield as needed by each individual

Strength, power and agility training for muscle building, bone loading, reactiveness, strength and balance.

Clients I see:

  • Private clients

  • Medicare referrals

  • Women aged 13+

  • Women who are interested in learning about their body and health

Clients I don’t see:

  • NDIS without prior conversation for suitability

  • Women who use walking aids: I have no accessible facilities due to being a home business

  • Children or men

Appointment costs:

  • Initial Consultation $220

  • Subsequent 30 minutes $100

  • Subsequent 45 minutes $130

  • Subsequent 60 minutes $160

Full fee’s are payable through direct debit and applicable rebates can then be claimed by the client.
